Counseling Services
What is counseling Sometimes from our most difficult experiences come the inner messages we need to listen to and address. I believe that within each of us exists the journey, the ability to heal trauma, the strength to overcome obstacles and the skills needed to lead a satisfying and rewarding life. My job as a therapist is to teach you how to access these inner resources while providing a warm atmosphere of unconditional acceptance and positive regard. I encourage my clients to trust their intuition and tune into their inner voice which tries to direct them. I teach assertive communication that focuses on genuine and authentic interaction. Clients learn to trust what they feel and begin building bridges toward healing past conflict/trauma. They begin to discover aspects of themselves that remained hidden, undiscovered or denied and start taking risks that before were not possible. Proof of income will be required during the first session. Pay options I accept cash, checks and credit cards. You can also pay in advance by clicking on the advance pay link. Unless prior arrangements have been made payment is due at the time of service. I am currently a provider for Aetna Behavioral Health and Aetna EAP Program. However, I require that eligibility and benefits be established before entering into the first session. When you call me for your first initial appointment, I will need your insurance information to verify benefits. Any co-payment due is due at the time of service. I also accept California Victim Witness Compensation benefits. The California Victim Compensation Program provides compensation for victims of violent crime who are injured or threatened with injury. Among the crimes covered are domestic violence, child abuse, sexual and…
